Mission StatementThe Newton/North Newton Historic Preservation Commission works to foster education about the preservation movement and Newton and North Newton's cultural, historical, and architectural heritage, to recognize and protect properties that are historically or architecturally significant, and to rescue or document endangered significant properties in Newton and North Newton. Meetings are held at the Newton Public Library, 720 N. Oak, Newton, KS.
