Calling all area high school 

sophomores and juniors!

 

Why?  An opportunity to step out and step up!

What?  Newton Student Leadership Program. 

Who?  Sponsored by the Newton Public Schools and the Newton Area Chamber of Commerce.

Why?  A great opportunity to develop effective leadership skills through leadership education and experiences. 

When?  Five Saturday afternoons in June from 1:30 to 4:00. 

What?  Opportunities to develop fundamental leadership skills that are necessary to establish and maintain successful personal relationships, to be a contributor and to participate as an informed citizen in our community.  To provide more value to your resume as you look for scholarship and work opportunities.

Who ?  Area sophomores and juniors who have a sincere desire to grow.

Why?  Because you are our future, you can make a difference and we need you!

How much?  Thanks to the Kansas Health Foundation, the Chamber and USD 373, this program is free to students intent on completing the entire program.

Why me?  You are willing to take a risk, you know you have it in you and you are willing to learn! 

How?  Complete the enclosed application, go on line to www.thenewtonchamber.org or get an application from your school office.
